Holiday Notification

Dear Parents/Carers

This is to let you know that we have booked our annual leave dates for the entire year of 2026.

Dates are as follows;

March/April

We have booked the 30^th and 31^st of March and the 1^st and 2^nd of April off and will return to work on the 7^th of April as the 3^rd and the 6^th of April are the Easter bank holidays.

May

The 25^th of May is a bank holiday, ee have booked the 22^nd and the 26^th of May so will return to work on the 27^th.

August

We have booked off Monday the 17^th of August to Friday the 28^th inclusive to give us two weeks to recharge our batteries and so will return to work on Tuesday the 1^st of September as the 31^st of August is a bank holiday.

Christmas

Our last day of term will be the 18^th of December, and we have booked off the 21^st of December onwards for our Christmas break and will return to work on Monday the 4^th of January 2027.

We have made every endeavour to book this annual leave so that it causes the least inconvenience to our parents/carers, however we at TinyTots appreciate it is not possible to avoid any inconvenience to absolutely everybody.

Feedback from our parents in previous years has indicated that the earliest notification of holidays is appreciated so they can avoid additional childcare costs by either booking their own annual leave to coincide with ours, or to organise alternative childcare arrangements for example with a family member or close friend.

Please note the dates indicated in this letter are our annual leave dates for full time clients, for term time only clients leave will be in accordance with the school holidays which we base on the Shirley Primary School, and can be found on their website at

We have also left one day’s annual leave un-booked in case it is needed for further hospital appointments etc. Please also note that should anything beyond our control happen to impact these dates we will endeavor to inform you at the earliest possible time.
